Radical Islamic Group Names Itself Legitimate Authority of Russia’s Dagestan

MosNews.com is reporting that the Islamic group Shari’ah Jamaat claims to be the legitimate power in Dagestan, an internal Russian republic bordering Chechnya.
The entire region of Russia in focus has a large Muslim population, and the terrorism in Chechnya, Dagestan, and other interal republics is an expression of jihad in that the terrorists want to form Islamic states. Terrorist bombings and ambush attacks on Russian military forces have become common, as have terrorist attacks against Russian civilians inside Russia (such as the murder of schoolchildren in Beslan and the deadly siege of a theater in Moscow).
Fortunately, the Russians have been quick to resist these attacks and counterattack with force.
